Hay ho, hay ho, it’s off to Keith Hay Park we go! Occupying the vast sprawling park in Mount Roskill is so much goodness waiting to be discovered – from the wide bountiful footpaths perfect for wheelin’ to the flying fox and stunning cricket murals.
There is little remaining in this park of the former quarry, swamp and scrubland this used to be, until developer and Presbyterian mayor Keith Hay transformed Mount Roskill.
While the park hosts plenty of sporting practice and activities as well as the nearby aquatics centre there is also plenty to keep little ones entertained with the playground in the western corner of the park featuring an epic flying fox, climbing tower for the best views and swings.
