This converted petrol station is the perfect spot to refuel. Barvarian beer tables that occupy the former forecourt make a lovely sunny spot to enjoy a coffee and fluffy while feeling removed enough from adjacent New North Road, plus parking behind and on the forecourt makes this pit stop even more appealing.
Inside all evidence of the former petrol station have been removed – shelves of engine oil replaced with greenery and cabinet food that is far from greasy but will leave you with a full tank! However little ones will gravitate to the children’s play area, cordoned off with crates that now form a barrier between kid zone and cafe. The cafe asks for a small donation to be made for use of the kids area with proceeds going to Mount Albert Plunket. A generous helping of toys will keep them entertained while you are served upon in this former Mount Albert servo.
Also be sure to enjoy the Mount Albert Street Food Station on a Friday night (5-9pm) when a variety food trucks congregate on the forecourt.
Just a hop skip and a jump away is Rocket Park.
